The purpose of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s Arts and Letters Committee is to promote and support artistic and cultural expression that reflects the rich heritage and experiences of the African American community. The committee aims to:

• Highlight Black voices in literature, music, visual arts, theater, and film.

• Educate and inspire through programs that uplift cultural awareness and creativity.

• Support Delta authors, artists, and creatives within the sorority and the larger community.

• Encourage critical thinking and dialogue around social justice, identity, and history through the arts.

• Preserve and celebrate the legacy and contributions of African Americans in the arts.

Through performances, book clubs, exhibitions, film screenings, and other cultural events, the Arts and Letters Committee serves as a vital bridge between the arts and Delta’s mission of scholarship, service, and sisterhood.
